Incident Report: Home Burglary

This afternoon at approximately 2:30PM, the Wedgewood gate officer on duty, S/O Felipe Pena, was approached by a gardener and was notified that the home at 3317 Brookshire Ct. had been broken into.

S/O Pena drove to the property and the gardener led him to the backyard of the home where it was observed by S/O Pena that the glass door had been smashed. Burbank Police Department was immediately contacted on behalf of the gardener as the residents were not home at the time and could not be reached.

As the gardener had to leave the location, S/O Pena stayed out front and observed the home until three police patrol units arrived at 3:04PM. After a brief search of the home turned up no suspects, Burbank PD left the property at 3:35PM and will be following up with the homeowners directly. The exact time and day of the burglary could not be identified at this time.
