Burbank Hills Access Control Committee
This very important committee is charged with defining and recommending policy and procedure to the board on any and all issues related to improving, establishing and enforcing Access Control for homeowners, visitors, and property of BHCA. The committee will meet monthly and provide regular recommendations and reports to the board and neighborhood.
Specific duties of the Access Control Committee will include:
Evaluate safety and access control related issues of the community, common area property and buildings.
Review incident reports from the Association’s contracted access control vendors.
Maintain ongoing liaisons with other committees to ensure all Association’s needs are met.
Recommend policy and procedure to the Board regarding safety and access control of the Association.
Provide and make readily available emergency contact names and numbers for specific situations.
Work with local law officials on needs of the Association, crime issues, and traffic concerns within the community.
Promote neighborhood watch sub-committees and distribute information, as approved by the Board, to homeowners on a regular basis.
Monitor vehicular traffic issues and report resident concerns to local authorities as necessary.
Conduct periodic evaluation of the BHCA property to identify possible safety concerns.
Provide updates for use on the community Association website/newsletter concerning the actions of the Committee related to safety and access control.
